Wow. I'm so proud of all of you -- I'm enjoying our study of rhetorical devices and just how analyzing their use in literature and history seems to bring about your own enlightenment.
Now that you know a little about rhetoric (don't forget to check your assignments at elmoreco.com -- your rhetorical analysis is due soon) -- find examples of rhetorical patterns in recent political speeches or remarks. If you really want to find personal enlightenment, continue your research (Google is great) to better understand the quote and the context in which it was made. Then, engage your parents in interpreting the "rhetoric."
