Keri's Celebration

by Keri Hyde (and Kristy Pribulick)

I am a bat that never breaks.
I send a home-run ball whizzing
Softball players can never live without me.
For there would be no game.

I am a goat, gnawing the blades of life.
I can take in all of it,
whatever is thrown at me.
This is a song of myself.

  1. I celebrate life itself and everyday hobbies and what i celebrate everyone can celebrate with me.

I celebrate the joy of playing softball, the wind in my hair as i round first base, the exciting thrill of winning and seeing fans supporting our softball team's victory.

I celebrate living life everyday to the fullest, with my friends, my family, and even random strangers i meet and some laughs with.

I celebrate summer. Going to the beach, tanning in the hot cancerous sun, swimming in the clear, aqua water. Summer for me equals no school which is my favorite celebration of all !

  2. Song of Myself

I celebrate myself, and my blessed life,
And what makes me me, and I am greatful,
For every aspect of my life makes it worth wile

The greatness of my life keeps me going,
and the strong beat of my heart every day.

The loving of others makes moments great,
Others care for, fight for, and believe in me,
There is nothing better than the trust of others,
They make my life for myself worth living.

I celebrate my love for different sports,
The way they keep me calm and at ease,
Of how the outdoors settle myself down,
Also sports that keep me competitive and are challenging.

The caring of my family contributes to the celebration of life,
My life in itself tells about the intrest of my family,
Family keeps me centered and always down to earth,
This celebration brings memories that never end.
